The Warsaw a NYC & Brooklyn institution

The Polish National Home has been "entertaining" the "hood" for over a century. In 2001 the Warsaw was founded by Mark Chroscielewski, one of the Polish National Home's directors. Over the past decade the Village Voice has credited the Warsaw with leading the "Live Rock & Roll Scene" across the Williamsburg Bridge from Manhattan with national touring acts.

Wilco, Macy Gray, Black Crowes, Joe Jackson, Patti Smith, Pearl Jam and many other legendary artists have graced the Warsaw stage and put Brooklyn "Rock n Roll" on the map!

"The Beach Ball" Family Dance Party at the Warsaw!

WNNS HOSTS “THE BEACH BALL” FAMILY DANCE PARTY AT WARSAW!

Brooklyn, NY-- The Williamsburg Neighborhood Nursery School (“WNNS”) announces that it will host The Beach Ball a family dance party that is open to the public on Saturday, March 10th. The event will take place from noon to 3pm at Warsaw, 261 Driggs Avenue (between Leonard and Eckford Streets). DJ E-I-O will spin family friendly tunes for a fun-filled event that will feature: limbo contests, crafts, a book fair (hosted by WORD, Geenpoint’s independent bookstore), hula-hoops and beach balls, activities, and more! Tickets can be purchased at EVENTBRITE….or at the door:  $10 per adult, $5 per child, pre-walkers are free. Refreshments, drinks, and lunch will be available for purchase.

All proceeds will benefit WNNS in order to increase their ability to serve middle and low-income families in the neighborhood. WNNS is a tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Funds raised will help WNNS to continue to provide young children with an environment that combines the social and intellectual stimulation of school with the nurturance and safety of home.
